through hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) and placing all package types including ball grid array (BGA). Our equipment
includes three SMT Lines, Wave Solder, Selective Solder, DI Wash and Conformal Coat Services.

Position Mission
The SMT Production Supervisor is committed to overseeing the production floor and ensuring accuracy from start of the
line through final packaging. They will have oversight of all manufacturing equipment on the floor and must be comfortable
programming and scheduling maintenance of all machines. They will also manage SMT Operators and Electronics
Technicians, providing technical support for questions and guidance on industry‐wide best practices. They will be dedicated
to reducing scrap and focusing on quality throughout the entire production process. The SMT Production Supervisor will
also work closely with the sales team to guarantee that new projects are quoted accurately based on the manufacturing
capabilities of the organization. This position requires the ability to be hands‐on in manufacturing. The ideal candidate can
adapt to changing circumstances and ensure our customers’ needs are met, no matter the challenge.
Measures of Success
The SMT Production Supervisor should be able to:
Monitor production schedules and manage production staff to appropriately schedule work for on‐time completion
Ensure product is produced according to developed procedures and customer work instructions
Evaluate customer product for quality during manufacturing and take appropriate actions to resolve issues that are
identified to prevent excessive scrap and ensure conformance with company quality standards
Develop and perform setup and change over procedures on equipment to ready for the next work order
Troubleshoot, root cause and document defective product or process failures and review input from production staff to
improve operation of production floor
Operate production equipment and perform builds when required
Competencies
This position is ideal for a person who would like to have leadership responsibility and still be part of the hands‐on work.
Candidates must be able to:
Identify different electronic component types, including value and polarity
Obtain certifications in soldering, current certification is preferred
Develop machine programs and work instructions utilizing Aegis Factory Logix and Circuit CAM
Candidates should be able to:
Program, debug, setup, and maintain various types of equipment: pick & place equipment (Juki preferred), reflow
ovens, screen and jet printers, wave solder, selective solder, inspection machines (Koh Young SPI and Parmi AOI
preferred) and wire processing equipment
Troubleshoot, root cause and document defective product or process failures by utilizing troubleshooting tools such as:
X‐Ray, thermal chamber, oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply and microscope
Requirements
This is a full time, in‐person position and requires standing for long periods of time
Candidates must be able to work overtime if business or customer needs require it
Candidates must have 8+ years of hands‐on SMT manufacturing experience
Candidates must have experience managing at least one direct report
An electronic technology degree is required
This is a technical role and candidates must be able to demonstrate recent hands‐on technical experience
